Travelling with CBD Just Got Easier
In May of 2019, travelling with CBD-containing hemp products got a lot easier. The TSA issued a statement outlining that CBD-containing products – edibles, tinctures, skincare, etc. – are legal to travel within the US. The statement, building on the 2018 Farm Act that federally legalized hemp & its derivatives, stated that, “Products/medications that contain hemp-derived CBD or are approved by the FDA are legal as long as it is produced within the regulations defined by the law under the Agriculture Improvement Act 2018.” As always, make sure you are purchasing your hemp products from a known source and that those products are properly labeled to avoid any confusion.
