• If your issue is falling asleep, ingest your product a few hours before bed.
• If your issue is staying asleep, ingest your product right before bed.
• If your issue is both, split your dose between the two times.
The goal is to fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up feeling refreshed.
If you wake up feeling foggy, either decrease the amount of product taken and/or take it earlier in the night so your body has enough time to process it.
CBD Usage Tips
Be patient & consistent – depending on the severity of your sleep challenges, it could take a few weeks to feel the benefits. But that time will pass anyway, so why not use it to start feeling better?
Look for incremental improvements along the way – like having it take less time to fall asleep, or waking up at night fewer times and being able to fall back asleep faster when you do wake.
CBD is not like a vitamin in that the effects are hard to quantify. If you’re taking the right product in the right amount at the right time, you should start sleeping better.
Of note, the sleep you’ll be getting is natural. Unlike taking a sleeping pill of some form that knocks you out, you should be able to wake up if prompted – ex. a crying baby or a door opening that you need/want to rouse you. Rest assured that you’ll wake up when needed, but not when unwanted.
Finding Your Routine
Once you do start sleeping better, you can determine how you want to adapt your regimen. Some people continue taking the products nightly because they need or want to, while others find they can transition to taking them as needed.
